Enjoy the music and humour of legendary guitarist John James. ‘The Welsh Ragtime Wizard’ is acknowledged as one of the finest fingerstyle guitarists this country has ever produced. A master of ragtime, blues, jazz & classical guitar, he has recorded and performed with the likes of John Renbourn, Bert Jansch, Nick Drake, John Martyn, Ralph Mctell and Jools Holland and even supported Led Zeppelin!! His live shows are notable for his humorous anecdotes as well as virtuoso guitar picking. He has performed at many prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall ( London), the Paris Olympia, Edinburgh and Cambridge Folk Festivals.

Fylde Guitars having recently built a nine string guitar for JJ are currently in the process of building a six string. The exact spec. is undecided at present, but could well feature a cutaway maple body. JJ played a Levin Goliath on his first four albums, this guitar had a dreadnought size maple body, giving a big distinctive sound.
