Les Cousins was a cutting edge acoustic music club that played host to such seminal talents as Bob Dylan, Alex Campbell, Davy Graham, Sandy Denny, Nick Drake, Jackson C Frank, Paul Simon, Martin Carthy, Roy Harper, Bert Jansch, and John Renbourn.
Before all that, 49 Greek St in Soho also housed the extraordinary Skiffle Cellar that informed and educated the trailblazing folk revolution of the mid-sixties. Talents such as Steven Benbow, Diz Disley, Nadia Cattouse, and Banjo George helped define youth culture in post-war Britain.
In 2008 Les Cousins has transcended the folk tag and is a taste-making operation exploring and advancing the new music model.
2007 saw releases and tours from Davy Graham, 2008 is all about the new and the beyond.
